Diversity and Equality

Implementing diversity and equality is a controversial subject in many organizations. However increasingly, people are being held accountable for their policies and practice towards people of different race, gender, disability, religion, age etc.

How does your organization view these issues – and do you need help? Many organizations find it difficult to translate the theory of diversity and equality into specific outcomes and actions They may have produced a diversity and equalities policy, but nothing much else has happened.

Ann can provide clients with anything from a full “audit” of their organization’s policies and procedures in terms of the different areas of diversity contained in their equality and diversity policy statement , to running focus groups and 1-1 meetings with staff to uncover people’s perceptions and the barriers that prevent the implementation of equality and diversity in the organization.

A recent client has been able to assess their current position in terms of equality and diversity through such a process and this information has been used when developing the strategic plan.
